La Suite del Marchese was born from a deep passion for the authentic beauty of Southern Italy and the art of welcoming guests. Located in the historic centre of Laterza, in the province of Taranto, the property is set within a historic building with exposed stone barrel-vault ceilings, where every stone tells centuries of Puglian history.

The heart of the suite is our centuries-old cave carved into tufa rock, where we have created an exclusive spa. The hydromassage tub, sculpted into the rock itself, is bathed in atmospheric lighting that transforms every bath into a ritual. The natural tufa maintains a cool, constant temperature, enveloping you in ancient silence.

We believe in personal, not industrial hospitality. Every guest is welcomed directly by us with fresh fruit and prosecco. There are no televisions in the room — only music, candles, and the pleasure of disconnecting from the world.
